CLINIC Director & PELVIC FLOOR SPECIALIST

Hannah Meyer PT, DPT (she/her)

Dr. Meyer is passionate about helping people reclaim their lives from pelvic pain. She has a special interest in treating conditions including vaginismus, painful sex, endometriosis, and other complex pelvic floor concerns. She especially loves working with patients who feel like they've tried everything or have been told there are no more options. Dr. Meyer is confident she can help you with anything from managing urinary leakage postpartum to helping heal your chronic low back pain. Her mission at TPI is to help people finally feel heard, understood, and confident that there is a path forward.

Originally from Northern Kentucky, Dr. Meyer earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Kentucky before moving to Chicago to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in the Department of Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences. Outside the clinic, Dr. Meyer is very active. She finds power through variability in movement. Her favorite forms of exercise include aerial arts (Pole dancing and Lyra), powerlifting, and beach volleyball. Dr. Meyer believes that everyone deserves to feel strong in their body, which is why she incorporates strength training and progressive overload into her treatment plans whenever appropriate.

Dr. Meyer is committed to creating an inclusive, judgment-free environment where patients of all genders feel welcome. She is also proudly sex worker-affirming and strives to provide compassionate, respectful care for every individual who walks through her door.

When she's not treating patients, Dr. Meyer co-hosts The Pelvic Freak Show with Dr. Neri. This is a weekly podcast dedicated to breaking stigma and making education about pelvic and sexual health more accessible (and we’re funny too)! New episodes drop every Thursday on all podcast platforms!
