PELVIC FLOOR SPECIALIST

Michelle Weil OTD (she/her)

Dr. Michelle Weil is a compassionate and client-centered pelvic health occupational therapist committed to helping individuals reconnect with their bodies and feel motivated, safe, and supported throughout their healing journey. Originally from the northwest suburbs of Chicago, she earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and her doctorate in occupational therapy from Rush University, where her capstone focused on developing an accessible postpartum wellness education program for new moms!

With a background in holistic care and behavior change, Michelle takes a whole-person approach to pelvic therapy, addressing the physical, emotional, and functional aspects of healing. She is a certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist (PCES), with a variety of experience across inpatient rehab, acute care, and outpatient therapy clinics.

Michelle specializes in pelvic pain, incontinence, postpartum recovery, and trauma-informed care. Her sessions incorporate breathwork, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, education, and functional movement/exercise. As an OT, she emphasizes practical strategies that clients can integrate into their routines, making healing both empowering and sustainable.

Outside the clinic, she enjoys browsing thrift shops and boutiques, walking her dog along the lakeshore path, experimenting with art projects, and trying to recreate her favorite coffee shop lattes at home.
